On March 3rd 2021, thirty three year old Sarah Everard was kidnapped while walking home by a serving police officer named Wayne Couzens. Her disappearance and the Met police's handling of the situation immediately led to wide spread protests across the country, as well as an urgently renewed conversation about women's rights and safety in the UK.
